Online Desk  :   Police have recovered the hanging body of Al Amin, chief of Zajira Police Station. The body was found in a room inside the police station on Thursday afternoon, according to Nazrul Islam, superintendent of Shariatpur Police Station. “Our initial suspicion is that he died by suicide. We can confirm the cause of death after an autopsy.”

District Superintendent of Police Nazrul Islam confirmed the incident, saying, “We recovered the body from a room in the police station building after receiving information. Initially, it appears to be a case of suicide, but the exact cause is not yet known. Further details will be confirmed following the autopsy.”

The police suspect suicide but emphasised that the precise circumstances of the incident will only be clear after the post-mortem examination.
