Online Desk  : If any history is written by denying the sacrifice, labor and struggle of Chatradal for 15 years, it will be thrown into the dustbin, warned Jatiotabadi Chatradal president Rakibul Islam Rakib. At the same time, he demanded a ban on underground politics in all university campuses of the country. He said this at the ‘March for Justice’ program at the Central Shaheed Minar on Saturday afternoon. Earlier, they started the program at 2 pm from in front of the Engineers Institute. Later, the leaders and activists of JCD reached Shaheed Minar via Shahbagh in a procession. Leaders and activists of various units including Dhaka University, Jagannath University, Jahangirnagar University, and Dhaka Metropolitan participated in the procession.

The JCD president said, “All political parties have united under the leadership of the student movement against discrimination in July-August. We are one of them and united against fascism. Those who want to undermine the July-August movement should play a responsible role. I want to warn you not to do any such activity that destroys unity.” Complaining that the government and university administration are not showing any good intention to bring Chhatra League leaders and activists to justice, he said, “All university administrations in Bangladesh, including Dhaka University, are not showing any good intention to bring a single Chhatra League leader and activist to justice. The government thinks that if they just ban Chhatra League, their misdeeds will be covered up.” Demanding a ban on underground politics in all educational institutions, Rakib said, “Since the terrible fascism like the murderous Hasina has fallen in Bangladesh, there is no longer any reality of underground politics here. Then if any political party is involved in underground politics, we will assume that they are again conspiring like what they did in 1971.”
