Online Desk : Four cases were filed against 19 individuals including Major General (Retd.) Tarique Ahmed Siddique, security adviser to the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for embezzling Tk812 crore in the name of development projects at the airport. ACC Director General Akhter Hossain confirmed the matter to the media on Monday.

Other accused in these cases include Mohibul Haque, the former senior secretary of the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry, and Mafidur Rahman, the former president of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
