Online Desk  :  Four people were killed in a collision between a truck and a private car in the Unish Mile area of Osmaninagar upazila, Sylhet.  The accident happened around 7:00 AM on Sunday (Feb 2). The deceased have been identified as Suhel, 38, the driver from Amilla village in Rupganj, Narayanganj; Shamima, 35, Eti Begum, 30, and Ayan, 7. Osmaninagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Monaem Mia confirmed the matter.

He said the private car was carrying seven passengers. Two died on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries after being taken to the hospital. According to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital and police sources, two victims died at the scene, while Suhel and Shamima were declared dead at the hospital. The bodies have been sent to the hospital morgue.
