Online Desk  :  Police on Wednesday morning arrested Pabna’s Sujanagar Awami League president Abdul Wahab, three days later after he was snatched away from the police custody. Around 7AM, a team of police, led by superintendent of Pabna police Mortoza Ali Khan, arrested him from a house at Mothurapur Beel area in the upazila during a raid. Abdul Wahab’s personal assistant Rabbi was also arrested as an FIR-listed accused over the incident. Earlier, 11 more individuals have also been arrested in the incident.

Abdul Wahab, also a former chairman, is the fugitive accused in several cases related to July uprising. On Sunday (February 2), the supporterts of Abdul Wahab attacked on police and snatched him in front of Mothurapur high school after police arrested Wahab in those cases. Eight police members were injured during the attack.
