Online Desk : To curb robbery and theft incidents, three specialised units–police, RAB and Anti Terrorism Unit– to start patrolling jointly from Monday (February 24), said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam. “Theft has increased in day and also at night too. Dhaka Metropolitan police, RAB and Anti Terrorism Unit will jointly conduct an operation starting today. See whether the situation improves or not. Otherwise we will go for another action.”
He said this while speaking at a workshop on enforcement of laws at primary training centre in Rajshahi on Monday.
