Online Desk  :   Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Director General (DG) Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud said in the current security situation, our affiliated Ansar members are playing a strong role in various institutions. “Even though they are facing attacks, they are working for security. This force is working to improve security and prosperity in every part of the country,” he said. He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the district gathering of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force at the Narayanganj Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Monday afternoon.

Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud said “Our digitalization work is in the final stage. Our database of 6 million has been created by the grace of Almighty. Since last August, around 100,000 have been given basic training. If they can be used for social security, it is possible to prevent security threats. Another 85,000 will take training ahead of this year’s elections. The database has already been created.” Giving instructions to include party leaders at the union level in the database, he further said, “If we can complete this, we will be able to demonstrate our responsibility towards the people of the country. We want to utilize 12 million hands out of our 6-million manpower towards self-reliance.”
