Online Desk  :   BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has accused former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of leading the Pilkhana massacre, which unfolded over two days, reports UNB. Speaking on Tuesday morning at the military cemetery in Banani, Dhaka, after laying wreaths at the graves of the martyred military officers and personnel, Fakhrul made the allegation while observing National Martyred Army Day.

“This day remains a dark chapter for the army. The enemies of the armed forces killed 57 brilliant military officers with the intent of dismantling the country’s security system,” he said. Despite his strong criticism, Fakhrul acknowledged the government’s decision to officially recognize the day, stating, “We appreciate the declaration of this as a national day and extend our condolences to the families of the slain military personnel.”
