Online Desk  :   Severe traffic congestion has created at Banani as garment workers blocked both incoming and outgoing roads following the death of their fellow in a road accident. They have also halted vehicular movement on the elevated expressway. A female garment worker was killed in a road accident on Monday morning on Banani Chairmanbari road which led to the protest. Banani Police Station OC Mohammad Rasel Sarwar said her body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Another person was also injured in the accident, he added.

Around 8:30AM, a woman was killed in a road accident at the U-turn incoming of Chairmanbari road. But it would not be known in which vehicles rammed her over, Traffic Gulshan Division informed.
