Monir Hossain, Mongla : Bangladesh Coast Guard is working relentlessly to ensure the safety of the coastal and river banks. The Coast Guard has recently increased surveillance and internal fountains to keep the market stable in the sacred Ramadan and the upcoming Eid on the occasion of the sacred Ramadan and the upcoming Eid on the occasion of the safety of the pilgrimage, smuggling and ensuring the protection of the waterways. In this connection, the mobile court was conducted on Thursday, March 20, on the adjoining naval routes of Bangladesh Coast Guard, Navy, Naval Transport Ministry and Nou Police Deer Point, Harberia, Mongla, Angtihara, Rupsa and Nawapara Anchor area. Mobile courts are operated to ensure that vessels and lighters carrying edible oils and other food products do not become a floating warehouse. Besides, the accuracy of these ships, various tankers, IMO numbers, fire extinguisher items and life savings equipment are verified.
Also, commercial ships are being ensured that they can safely reach the destination. Besides, the safety of cargo and tourist vessels is being ensured regularly to prevent naval accidents. Coast Guard is constantly monitoring the sea, coastal and rivers in the aim of enriching the Sunil economy. Such activities of the Coast Guard will continue in the future to keep the country’s internal market stable.
