Online Desk  :   Dhaka residents will remain in safe during Eid as police members will not have any holidays, said Nasimul Ghani, senior secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Thursday. While asking about the security of the Dhaka residents during the nine-day long holiday, Nasimul Ghani said, “Those with vehicles will be able to travel comfortably. Those staying in their homes will also be safe InshaAllah.” The senior secretary stated these while responding to reporters’ query at the Secretariat today.

“You can try on 999. I personally tested it around 1AM and found that they responded. Main fact that our forces were not as active, but now they are. They are making efforts and these efforts will continue.” Nasimul Ghani said, “Police do not have any holidays. They will be on duty for 24 hours. A large number of people have been leaving Dhaka. We are trying our best to comfort their travel.” Expect that no untoward incidents will happen. Law enforcement agencies will be on high alert during the Eid time. Hope that Allah, who has protected our country from many dangers, will continue to cover us with His blessings and keep us all safe.”
