Online Desk  :   A Dhaka court has issued arrest warrant against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, Rehana’s daughter and former British MP Tulip Rizwana Siddiq, her son Radwan Mujib Siddiq, and another daughter Azmira Siddiq in a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) over allegations of corruption in Rajuk’s plot allotment.

Judge Md Zakir Hossain of the Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge’s Court passed the order after taking cognisance of the charges, as all the accused remained absconding. Aminul Islam, Assistant Director of the ACC’s prosecution division, confirmed the matter to journalists. Earlier on Thursday, the same court issued arrest warrants against former PM Sheikh Hasina, her daughter Saima Wazed Putul, and 16 others in a separate case.
