Finance adviser’s office besieged by secretariat workers

Online Desk : A group of Bangladesh Secretariat officials and employees on Monday started a sit-in at the Finance Adviser’s office demanding gratuity and rationing facilities for them. A delegation from the protesters went inside to hold talks with Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed, but it could not be confirmed whether he was inside his room.

The protesting employees threatened they would not leave their positions until the demands are met, even if they would have to spend the night at the finance adviser’s office.
