Online Desk  :   The Iranian Armed Forces launched a fresh round of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime on Thursday morning in what the Israelis described as the heaviest attack they have come under since their regime waged a war of aggression against Iran on June 13, Tasnim News Agency and Jerusalem Post reported. Israeli media outlets have reported that the most recent wave of Iran’s missiles have rained down on three locations in the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area and one spot in south of the city.

Thursday’s missile attack, which is believed to have been the heaviest strike since the beginning of Iran’s retaliatory operations, has killed three and wounded 30 so far, the Hebrew-language media reported. Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth said Iran has used a combination of missiles and drones in the attack. The Exchange Ramat Gan building has been apparently targeted in eastern part of the municipality of Tel Aviv. An Iranian ballistic missile struck Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba morning as sirens sounded across Israel following a barrage launched from Iran.

There has been damage to the hospital after it was hit in several areas, and there was a significant impact on the hospital’s old surgical building, the hospital spokesperson stated. Rescue teams have been operating at the scene to help people trapped in an elevator at the hospital, the Israel Fire and Rescue Service reported. Medical teams have been working to evacuate all those wounded from the scene to hospitals, MDA said. The Soroka hospital has been treating all those who were lightly wounded from the impact in its emergency room, the hospital’s spokesperson said.

During the missile barrage, large blasts were heard across Israel as several other direct impact sites in central Israeli cities were reported. At least three direct impact sites were reported in the initial aftermath of the sirens. MDA added that it was scanning the sites of further reported impacts. The Israeli Army Radio said Iran has launched the largest wave of missile strikes against the Zionist regime during the past 48 hours by firing up to 30 ballistic missiles. Earlier on Wednesday night, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps launched a round of missile strikes against Israeli targets using heavy, long-range, two-stage Sejjil missiles for the first time.
