Online Desk  :   Large mass anti-Israel protests in Tehran and in cities big and small across Iran on Friday, reports Al Jazeera. Hundreds of thousands of Iranian taking to the streets and marching in solidarity to express their anger over the Israeli attacks, despite the ongoing strikes. There were striking scenes at Friday prayers at the University of Tehran. People were chanting, waving flags of Iran, Palestine and Hezbollah. Many chants saying they supported Iran’s retaliatory actions.

Some people brought pictures of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who had called for solidarity among the people after the Israeli strikes began. It’s not just in major cities like Tehran, Shiraz, Tabriz, Isfahan – but large mass anti-Israel protests also seen in smaller cities, too. Since day one of these strikes, we’ve seen this strong sense of anger from ordinary citizens. Now they’re taking to the streets to express that.
