Online Desk: A fire broke out at Korail slum in Mohakhali in the capital on Sunday afternoon. Receiving information, four fire fighting units rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control. They are now working at the spot. However, no casualties have been reported so far. The Fire Servive and Civil Defence headquarters said the fire broke out at 4:38pm.
Shahjahan Sikder, senior station master at the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, said four fire fighting units were sent to Korail slum after hearing that a fire broke out there. Seven more fire-fighting units are now heading towards the spot. However, it could not be know how the fire had originated.
