Online Desk: Renowned Indian singer AR Rahman’s son AR Ameen recently experienced a traumatic accident on set during the shoot of a music video. The chandelier on the set which was held by a crane, came crashing down on the singer while he was focused on his performance.

Though Ameen remained unharmed by the accident, the artiste has been traumatised by the near-death experience. Taking to his social media account, the singer wrote, “I am thankful to the Almighty, my parents, family, well-wishers, and my spiritual teacher that I am safe and alive today. Just three nights ago, I was shooting for a song and I trusted the team to have taken care of the engineering and safety, while I was focusing on performing in front of the camera. The whole truss and chandeliers that were suspended from a crane came crashing down while I was right in the middle of the spot. If it were a few inches here and there, a few seconds earlier or later, the whole rig would have fallen on our heads. My team and I are shell-shocked and unable to recover from the trauma.”

AR Ameen made his debut as a playback singer back in 2015 in the Tamil film “O Kadhal Kanmani”, with the song “Maula Wa Sallim”. He was also sung “Never Say Goodbye” for the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer film, “Dil Bechara”, and “Nanhi Si Jaan” for the Akshay Kumar and Rajnikanth starrer film, “2.0”.
