Gulistan blast: Police files unnatural death case, 3rd day’s rescue efforts start

Online Desk: Police on Wednesday night filed an unnatural death case with Bangshal Police Station over Gulistan explosion that claimed 20 lives. Earlier on Tuesday, a general diary was filed by police, said Jafor Hossain, deputy commissioner of Lalbagh division police.
Meanwhile, firefighting units have started their rescue operation for the third day on Thursday morning at the building.
The explosion death toll has risen to 20 as another injured died while undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute at about 11:00pm on Wednesday. An unnatural death case was filed with Bangshal Police Station. But RAJUK, Fire Service and DMP’s CTTC are investigating the incident.
