Online Desk: Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan opted to bowl first as the team will be eying a maiden bilateral T20I series win over England in the second of the three-match T20I series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today. Shakib Al Hasan and Co. surprised the world champions in Chattogram, coming out with an aggressive mindset and registering a first-ever win against England in the shortest format. The hosts will hope to bring that momentum to Dhaka and seal the series.

The Tigers ticked almost all the boxes in the first T20I, displaying a collective approach in all three departments and that will once again be needed. However, the hosts made one change in their playing XI, with Mehedi Hasan Miraz replaing Shamim Patwary.

The change in venue could also be on the back of the minds of the visitors since they will be featuring in their first-ever T20I in Mirpur — a happy hunting ground for the Tigers historically. The visitors, too, made one change to their side, with leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed coming in place of speedster Mark Wood.

Teams:

Bangladesh: Rony Talukdar, Litton Das (wk), Najmul Hossain Shanto, Shakib Al Hasan (capt), Towhid Hridoy, Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud, Mustafizur Rahman

England: Phil Salt, Dawid Malan, Jos Buttler (capt & wk), Ben Duckett, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Chris Woakes, Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid, Rehan Ahmed, Jofra Archer
