Fire breaks out in Gazipur towel factory

Online Desk: A fire broke out at a towel manufacturing factory named Shahris Composite at Sreepur upazila in Gazipur district. On Tuesday at 12:30 pm, the fire broke out in the factory in Baherarchala area under Sreepur municipality.

Mauna Fire Service station officer Iftekhar Hassan Raihan said, three units of the fire service reached the spot and were trying to douse the blaze. The burning building contains machinery and cotton. The fire spread to the entire building in a moment.

However, there were no workers in that building, he said.
