Man dies after vehicle hits bicycle in Sabujbagh

Online Desk: A man died after a vehicle hit his bicycle in Dhaka’s Sabujbagh area early today. The deceased was identified as Ripon, 35, from Kamalapur area.
Quoting locals, Sabujar Ali, a sub-inspector of Sabujbagh Police Station, said a vehicle hit Ripon’s bicycle in Basabo area around 4:30am, leaving him critically injured. Ripon was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 8:00am, the SI said.
The locals, however, could not give any details about the vehicle that hit the bicycle, the SI said. The body was sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy, the police official said adding that police are trying to identify the vehicle.
