New passport office at Aftabnagar

Online Desk: New regional passport office in the capital’s Aftabnagar area has started its work for the residents under nine police stations.

The residents of Mugda, Sabujbagh, Shahjahanpur, Khilgaon, Rampura, Motijheel, Paltan, Badda and Hatirjheel Police Stations have been seen standing with the applications in a queue since 8am on the ground floor of ‘Dhaka Purbo’ office at Block F, No 2.

The applicants expressed their satisfaction over the first day of service. Meanwhile, some applicants alleged that they are facing some trouble getting information as the information centre of the office has yet to open.
