Man killed in Jatrabari road mishap

Online Desk: A man was killed when a bus hit him at Jatrabari in Dhaka on Tuesday morning. The identity of the deceased was not known immediately.

Police said a passenger bus of ‘Turag City Service’ hit the person while he was crossing road at Chaurasta of Jatrabari around 11 am. He died on the spot.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Jatrabari Police Station officer-in-charge Mofizul Alam said being informed, a team of police was sent to the spot.

The bus (Dhaka Metro-B, 13-0378) has been seized along with the driver from there, the OC added.
