Online Desk: Two rickshaw passengers were killed after a container from a running lorry fell on a rickshaw in Patenga’s Steel Mill Bazar of Chattogram on Wednesday.

The condition of the rickshaw-puller is critical. The incident took place at 12 noon. The container fell on the rickshaw, leaving two of its passengers dead on the spot, said Abul Halim, deputy-director of Chattogram Fire Service and Civil Defense.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
