Online Desk: After waiting for a long time, Shah Rukh Khan starrer film “Pathaan” has finally been released Friday 12 may in Bangladesh. The film is being shown all over Bangladesh in 41 halls, with 206 shows everyday.
Huge crowds have been spotted at Mirpur Sony Square’s Star Cineplex, to watch the first day first show of the film. Import of Hindi movies has been a long-standing demand of cinema hall owners. That demand was fulfilled with the release of Bollywood’s “Pathaan”.
Anonno Mamun, spokesperson of Action Cut Entertainment, the importer of the “Pathaan”, told The Daily Star, “The film has been released under its own server. Due to e-ticketing and box office, it is easy to understand how much money the movie will earn.”
Directed by Siddharth Anand, “Pathaan” was released worldwide on January 25. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia among others. The movie broke box office records in India with its worldwide earnings within a month of its release. “Pathaan” holds the distinction of being the most commercially successful film in the history of Bollywood.
