Cox’s Bazar port asked to hoist signal No. 10

Online Desk: The maritime port of Cox’s Bazar has been asked to hoist cautionary signal number 10 and Chattogram, Payra ports have been advised to keep hoisted great danger signal number 8.

State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Md Enamur Rahman disclosed the information to media at a briefing held at Secretariat in the capital on Saturday.

Cyclone Mocha may hit the coastal area of Cox’s Bazar between 6am and 6pm, he said. He also said ‘Mocha’ will not turn into a super cyclone. It is now a very severe cyclone
