Online Desk: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said they would counter anyone who tries to obstruct the next general elections. “We will continue our peaceful programme till the election but if anyone comes to obstruct, we will counter it,” Quader said.
Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, was talking to reporters after joining a programme at Roads and Highways Department headquarters in capital’s Tejgaon.
Referring to yesterday’s clash between police and BNP men in the capital and vandalising of two BRTC buses, he said the incident exposes BNP’s real face.
He said police would take action against them.
