Online Desk: Bangladesh grabbed the bronze medal in the men’s recurve team event of the Archery Asia Cup World Ranking Tournament, Stage-3, in Singapore today.
Sagor Islam, Hakim Ahmed Rubel and Ram Krishna Saha of Bangladesh beat their Australian counterparts by 5-4 set points in the bronze-medal deciding match today.
Both teams were tied at 4-4 set points at one stage, after which a tiebreaker was needed to decide the winner. Bangladesh scored 29 points against Australia’s 27 in the decider to take the match and win the bronze medal. China won the gold medal while India took the silver in the event.
