Online Desk: Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Rangamati district unit organized a peace rally in Rangamati town to protest the ‘terrorism and anarchy’ by BNP-Jamaat across the country on Wednesday. The rally was held at Banrupa CNG station premises in the town at 11 am.
Rangamati Jubo League president and municipal mayor Akbar Hossain Chowdhury presided over the programme where district Jubo League vice-presidents Ashish Kumar Chakma Nabo, Abu Taiyab, Shahidul Alam Swapan, joint secretaries Mansur Ahmed, Sujan Barua, Sadar Thana Jubo League general secretary Natun Kumar Tripura, town Jubo League president Abul Khair, general secretary Abdul Wahab Khan were present conducted by the district unit general secretary Noor Mohammad Kajol.
The district Jubo League president and municipal mayor Akbar Hossain Chowdhury said during the period of BNP-Jamaat, electricity was the worst in the country. Bangladesh has now come under 100 per cent electricity coverage under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. ‘When Bangladesh is moving forward in every field, BNP-Jamaat has again started new conspiracy to stop this progress of the government’, he added. Earlier, a procession was brought out from the municipal premises which ended at Banrupa.
