Covid-19: One death, 134 cases reported in 24hrs

Online Desk: One more COVID-19 death and 134 fresh cases were reported in the country in 24 hours till Wednesday morning.

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said with the new numbers, the country’s total fatalities rose to 29,453 and caseload to 2,040,815.

The daily case test positivity rate increased to 9.04 per cent from Tuesday’s 6.62 as 1, 483 samples were tested. The recovery rate stands at 98.35 per cent. However, the death rate remained unchanged at 1.44 per cent.
