Online Desk: Nineteen more patients died being infected with dengue during the last 24 hours in Bangladesh which is the highest number of fatalities in the current year.

With the latest deaths, a total of 146 people have died from dengue in the country so far. Of them, 83 were male and 63 female. Of the total deaths, 33 died outside Dhaka.

The Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Director General of Heath Services (DGHS) said in a bulletin on dengue on Wednesday.

At the same time, 1,792 patients have been admitted to different public and private hospitals and clinics being infected with dengue. Of them, 792 are the inhabitants of Dhaka city while 870 are from outside Dhaka. With them, a total of 25,792 people have been infected with the deadly disease.
