Online Desk: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has halved the specific import duty of sugar, both raw and refined.
The customs wing of NBR issued a Statutory Regulatory Order (SRO) in this regard on Wednesday.
However, other taxes including VAT, and regulatory duty on the import of sugar remained unchanged.
