The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: A Dhaka court today again asked Detective Branch of police to submit by February 14 the probe report in a case filed against Amatullah Bushra over the death of Buet student Fardin Noor Parash. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Shanto Islam Millick passed the order after Investigation Officer Md Mojibur Rahman, also a DB inspector, failed to submit any probe report today. On January 8, Bushra was granted ad-interim bail in the case. She was present at the court today.
Fardin, a third-year student of civil engineering at Buet, was found dead in Shitalakkhya in Narayanganj on November 7, three days after he went missing. After investigating the incident for over a month, the Detective Branch of police and Rab on December 14 said Fardin died by suicide after jumping off a bridge into the river.A day later, DB Chief Mohammad Harun Or Rashid said they did not find Bushra’s involvement in the incident.Fardin’s father rejected the investigators’ claim.
