Online Desk: City Group Chairman Fazlur Rahman passed away in the capital early Monday.
Rahman, also Chairman of Somoy TV, breathed his last at the United Hospital in the capital at around 4 am. He had been suffering from respiratory disease for a long time.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Dhupkhola field in Gendaria after Asr prayers today.
According to family sources, he also worked at his office till Sunday evening. Later in the night, he fell sick and was taken to the hospital immediately.
Fazlur Rahman is survived by his wife, a son, and three daughters.
In 1972, Citigroup began its operations with the production of mustard oil. He later expanded his business through investment in other fields.
