Trade through Sonamasjid land port suspended due to polls

Online Desk: Exports and imports between Bangladesh and India through Sonamasjid land port have been suspended since this morning due to the 12th national election to be held tomorrow, reports UNB.
However, immigration through the port will continue as usual.
A notice has been issued, signed by the joint commissioner of customs at the land port, Mohammad Mahbub Hasan, in this regard on Friday.
Full-scale trade activities will resume on Monday.
