Online Desk: US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken has met with global labor union leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
They discussed US President Joe Biden’s recent Global Labor directive.
The US Secretary of State underscored the importance of advancing labor rights and raising labor standards globally to support more sustainable and inclusive economies, said US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller.
They also affirmed their shared commitment to ensure workers’ voices are heard and included in global economic policy-making and to advance worker empowerment and rights around the world.
