Online Desk: A total of 2,024,192 candidates have registered for this year’s examinations.
The exams will be held at 3,700 centres in 29,735 educational institutions, the Ministry of Education said.
The exams will start with the Bangla first paper and will be held on full syllabus this time. The three-hour tests will start at 10am.
Practical exams will be held at the respective institutes from March 13 to March 20.
Meanwhile, all coaching centres in the country have been closed since Tuesday (Feb 13) to ensure a fair and rumour-free environment during the examinations. Coaching centers will remain closed till March 12.
During the examination, teachers, students, and staff will be prohibited from using mobile phones, smartwatches, and any other unauthorised electronic devices within 200 yards of the examination centres. Immediate action will be taken for violating these rules.
Only the secretary of the centre can use the mobile phone during the examination. But that too will be a normal (feature) phone without the camera and internet browsing facilities.
For the security of the question papers and to prevent leaks, the question set code will be announced 25 minutes before the start of the examination. Accordingly, the centre secretary, tag officer, and police officer will open the question paper packet as per the rules.
