The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer “Pathaan”, was finally released yesterday (January 25), making fans flock to the cinema halls. Unsurprisingly, the film broke the first day box office opening record, for a Hindi film—earning 55 crores.

Beating Yash’s “KGF: Chapter 2” first day box office collection record which is 53.9 crore, Shah Rukh Khan’s new action thriller film is now crowned to the highest box office opening film. Even though the film wasn’t released on a holiday, “Pathaan” performed stunningly. According to the media outlets, the film earned 55 crore net from all around India on its opening day, and 2 crores more from the dubbed version release, bringing it to a total of 57 crores in its first day collection.
