Online Desk:  The fifth anniversary of the death of Munshi Abdul Wadud, a freedom fighter and a former teacher of Kushtia Govt College, was observed on Sunday.

He worked as an assistant professor at Sailkupa Govt Degree College, Govt MM City College in Khulna and Kushtia Govt College.

He also served as a question setter at various education boards and head examiner of Bachelor of Arts examinations under National University.

The freedom fighter is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

His elder son Munshi Firoz Al Mamun is a former special correspondent and online in-charge of the Daily Sun.

Munshi Abdul Wadud was laid to rest at his Char Moukuri village under Sarutia Union at Sailkupa upazila in Jhenaidah.

Family members requested relatives, well-wishers, colleagues and others to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
