Online Desk: Chairman of Bangladesh Public Service Commission Md Sohorab Hossain has assured that no candidate will face any mark cut for answering wrong questions in the 46th BCS exams’ preliminary tests held last month.
He told Prothom Alo newspaper on Wednesday that a few questions of the preliminary exams were wrong, but “no one will be deprived of marks for it [answering wrong questions].”
Some examinees pointed out errors and inconsistencies in questions, urging the PSC to take appropriate measures to ensure that no one is deprived of marks for BPC mistakes.
Taking full responsibility for the errors, the chairman said, “We called those who were responsible for question paper preparation and moderation. They all are respectable persons. We asked them not to submit questions before being 100 per cent sure about their flawlessness in the future.”
