Online Desk : A delegation of protesting students submitted their memorandum containing the one-point demand to the president at bangabhaban on Sunday afternoon. Major General Mohammad Adil Choudhury, military secretary of President Mohammed Shahbuddin, received the memorandum. The delegation left Bangabhaban after 20 minutes staying there. Earlier, a 12-members team of the protesting students entered the Bangabhaban at 2:30pm with the memorandum containing the one-point demand for reform the quota system in government jobs. The students are coordinators and assistant coordinators Sarjis Alam, Nahid Islam, Rifat Rashid, Hasib, Baker and others. Around 1:30pm, the students marching towards Bangabhaban have been barricaded by the police personnel at Zero Point. But some of the protesters broke those barricades and went ahead towards Bangabhaban.
Thousands of students started marching towards the Bangabhaban at 12noon after gathering Dhaka University’s Arts Faculty. Students from different public universities and seven colleges under the Dhaka University Affiliation joined the procession.
