Four EU countries to recruit 3000 Bangladeshi workers : Foreign Minister

Online Desk : Four European Union countries – Italy, Germany, Greece and Romania – will recruit 3,000 Bangladeshi workers, Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud said. He told the reporters after outgoing European Union Ambassador Charles Whiteley called on him at the foreign ministry in Dhaka on Sunday.
Dr Hasan said the EU envoy also stated the probability of taking more labourers from Bangladesh based on the 3,000 ones’ skills. The minister said they discussed about continuing the facilities, including Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), for Bangladesh various products by the EU till 2032, he said.
