Online Desk  :  Family members of martyrs Miraj Hossain and Md Ismail Hossain Rabbi who were killed in student-people uprising on Wednesday (September 25) met Posts, Telecommunication and ICT and Information adviser Md Nahid Islam. They met the adviser at the office room of the Posts and Telecommunication Division. During the meeting, martyred Miraj’s father had burst into tears while narrating the death of his on on August 5. When he showed the blood-stained shirt of his son to the adviser, an emotional situation occured at the office room. At that time, the adviser consoled Miraj’s father.

Martyred Ismail Hossain Rabbi’s sister had requested the adviser not to conduct postmortem of the body of her brother.  She said they could not file case as the hospital authorities concerned told them that the death certificate would not be issued without postmortem of Rabbi. Rabbi’s sister also sought the adviser’s intervention for inclusion of the name of her brother in the list of martyrs. Assuring them of inclusion of the names of martyrs, the adviser said the names of the martyrs and injured would be included in the list. He said the task would be easier after setting up of the office of July Shaheed Smrity Foundation. Fisheries and Livestock adviser Farida Akhtar was present.
