Online Desk  :  A female employee of NEXT Ventures company died after being hit by a bus at Badda’s Pragati Sarani area in the capital on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Ayrin, 24. Police, however, managed to seize the bus. The accident happened in the morning in front of Fuji Trade Centre. As the accident news spread, several hundred workers of the same company took to the road where the accident took place. A huge tailback was created at Pragati Sarani following the workers’ protest.

Gulshan Traffic Division Additional Police Commissioner (ADC) Zia said a bus belonging to ‘Akash Paribahan’ hit the woman at about 9AM, leaving her dead on the spot. Vehicles are plying on one side from Rampura to Jamuna Future Park due to road blockade.
