Online Desk : Police recovered the blood-stained body of a helper from a bus belonging to ‘Sardar Travels’ in Jashore on Saturday morning. A ‘chaku’ with blood also found beside the body. The deceased was identified as Md Bappi, 25, son of Idris Ali of Narail. Enamul Haque, bus driver, informed that they reached Jashore around 3AM with passenger from Dhaka. Later, he parked the bus near Monir Uddin pump after taking fuel. He then left the place but Bappi was inside the bus. When Enamul Haque came to the spot at 8AM, he found the blood-ridden body of Bappi inside the bus and instantly informed police.
Sardar Travels’ Jashore counter master Mohammad Rumi said, the bus was supposed to stop in front of the Manihar counter at 7:30AM to pick up the passengers. But after a long time, as the vehicle was not parked, the driver and others approached to the bus and found the body. The body was sent to Jashore General Hospital morgue. Multiple injury marks were found on Bappi’s shoulder and back side. Police are able to arrest the culprits within a very short time, said additional superintendent of Jashore police Jewel Imran.
