Online Desk : Government efforts are going on to stabilise the prices of essential commodities centering the upcoming Ramadan, said Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashiruddin on Saturday. “We are striving to maintain a balance between supply and demand to ensure affordability. For this, we expect collective efforts and public cooperation.” Commerce Adviser Bashiruddin said these at a scholarship cheque distribution event at the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Saturday.

He informed that prices of oil, sugar and onion have decreased across the counry.
