Online Desk  :   After more than seven and a half years, BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has traveled to London to begin her medical treatment. Admitted to the London Clinic on Wednesday, she is undergoing a series of tests and receiving care. BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas spoke to the media at midnight (BD Time) on Saturday (Jan 11), after visiting Begum Zia at the clinic.

Begum Zia is feeling much better mentally and physically. Surrounded by her family, she is in a positive state and spending quality time with her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, he said. If she had received such treatment earlier, it would have been much better, he added. Two days after Begum Zia’s arrival in London, Mirza Abbas and his wife, Afroza Abbas, also arrived there.
