Online Desk: Bangladesh’s popular singer Kumar Bishwajit’s son Nibir Kumar was critically injured in an accident in Canada’s Toronto. The accident happened around 11:30pm local time on Highway 427 southbound ramp to Dundas Street West. The accident also left three other Bangladeshi students–Shahriar Khan, Angela Barai and Aryan Dipta–dead.

According to the family, Nibir Kumar is currently undergoing treatment at St. Michael’s Hospital. Doctors will monitor him for another 6-18 hours. According to Canadian police source, Nibir was driving the car which was at a very high speed. The vehicle was carrying three more students aged in between 17-21. All of them are the students of Humber College.

Hearing the accident news, Kumar Bishwajit’ left Dhaka for Canada. The car was heading towards south side of the highway at a very high speed. Suddenly, Nibir lost control and the vehicle hit the highway railing. It, later, turned turtle on the road and caught fire.
