Online Desk  :   A day-long “UNESCO Book Exhibition-2025” has been organized at the Tofazzal Hossain Manik Mia Hall of the National Press Club. On the occasion of the celebration of International Mother Language Day, the Bangladesh National UNESCO Club Association organized this exhibition on the morning of 25 February 2025. It is worth noting that the exhibition includes books and journals published by UNESCO on various important topics related to history and tradition, education, culture, science-based and information and research, and thousands of publications related to various activities of UNESCO. UNESCO has been working all over the world for a long time to protect history and tradition. Why UNESCO? Books of a country give birth to our independent thinking and develop our mentality. Through such an exhibition, UNESCO’s relationship with Bangladesh will be further strengthened.

This is the 9th time such an exhibition is being organized by the UNESCO Club. The exhibition was open to all from 11 am to 6 pm at the National Press Club. In the morning, the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Mr. Mahbub Morshed inaugurated the exhibition. In the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition, held under the chairmanship of UNESCO Club Secretary General Mahbubuddin Chowdhury, National Press Club General Secretary Mr. Ayub Bhuiyan was the chief guest and Dhaka Journalists Union President Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam was present as the special guest. The speakers at the meeting thanked UNESCO for playing an important role in promoting education for peace. UNESCO has been working for the welfare of humanity, including education for peace, not war, for the last 80 years. UNESCO’s publications carry great importance in the field of journalism.
