Ekushey Padak-2023 (posthumously) was awarded on Monday for his contribution to politics 
by Khulna Metropolitan President of Awami League from 1984 to 2003.

the deceased Manjurul Imam, prominent politician and freedom fighter, received the honor and certificate 
from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on behalf of his elder son Abdullah Harun Rumi.
